A Sense Of Purpose

Do you have to keep growing your business to be prosperous? Is it possible to stay small successfully? It is a question I have wondered about a lot this year, my fifth as a business owner.

We launched after 9/11 and grew quickly from the start. Our top-line revenue more than doubled last year and at least tripled every year before that. The business is one I enjoy running, but I worry that if we keep growing at this rate it will soon be larger than I�d like to manage every day.

There�s growth, and there�s GROWTH, and as our revenue base extends, I want to make sure we�re expanding with a purpose.
