Survey shows black investors shun stocks, bonds
Black investors put less money into stocks and bonds than their white counterparts, according to the latest results from a decade-long study, and the numbers are trending down. Only 64% of higher-income blacks owned stocks this year, down from 74% in 2002, according to a survey by Ariel Capital Management and Charles Schwab Corp.
